SUMMARY:

Marketing Manager is a position in the Lightspeed Systems Marketing Department with responsibilities for managing advertising concept, design, layout and placement for all direct and indirect sales channels. This document details many of the required duties and responsibilities required for this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following are the essential functions of the position. The list is not exhaustive, and may be supplemented as necessary.

  • Communicates well with internal and external customers and thrives in a team environment
  • Supports Regional Sales Managers, Certified Partners, and Distributors with marketing collateral
  • Manages the creation of brochures, data sheets, websites, and multimedia presentations for sales team
  • Manages national and regional lead generation campaigns for direct and indirect sales channels
  • Builds brand awareness and a professional image
  • Assists in the management and promotion of sales and marketing events
  • Monitors competition and creates comparative sales tools
  • Gathers testimonials and creates case studies and best practices for publication
  • Places orders and manages inventory of sales promotional items
  • Manages invoicing, requisitions, and other financials
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

The following are the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities preferred or required to perform this job.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SalesForce.com
  • Basic understanding of TTC software
  • Previous marketing and creative design experience preferred

SKILLS, ABILITIES, KEY BEHAVIORS:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all levels of staff
  • Ability to think creatively in designing new marketing materials
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Ability to perform several duties concurrently
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
