The Lightspeed High-Capacity Network Solutions include a high-speed appliance, operating on top of a hardened and secured operating system, preinstalled with our best-of-breed Internet filtering or spam blocking software. These integrated hardware-software solutions provide fast, reliable web filtering or spam and email management for your high-traffic network.
Speed and power
With variations for capacity and redundancy, you can choose the appliance that fits your technical requirements. All of our appliances can easily handle the highest traffic volumes, up to 1 Gigabit of throughput—or 10 Gigabytes for the Lightspeed Rocket, Web Access Manager, 10 Gb version.
An effective and reliable architecture
Our High-Capacity Network Solutions include a Lightspeed Rocket appliance in addition to a Management Application, which provides comprehensive reporting and policy setting capabilities. For optimal effectiveness and efficiency, the web filtering appliance is placed inline in order to see, evaluate, and report on all network traffic; the spam blocking appliance is placed out of line in order to process spam before it reaches your mail server, reducing the load on your server.
