Virtual Classroom
In this virtual training environment you will benefit from the comforts of your own desk with hands-on labs and tailored curriculum that will feel like you are sitting in a real classroom. As you watch and listen in on presentations you will be able to communicate directly with instructors. You will also have access to next-generation Lightspeed hardware for hands-on labs. Throughout the training session, you will be creating and managing your own tier and traffic on our next-generation training system.
Cost: Varies from $100 - $200 per session
For each module completed, you will be issued a Certificate of Completion. When all modules are completed you will have the option to test for the Administrative Certification.
Modules Available
- Lightspeed Rocket Foundation: This session is for customers who are looking for the basic information on the next generation of Lightspeed. This session offers a few hands-on labs on network integration and how to get around in the new interface.
- Lightspeed Web Filter 101: This session is for customers who are looking for a little more information on Lightspeed Systems web filtering. We will be going over rules sets, assignments, search keywords, URL patterns, file extensions, custom categories, lockouts, and block for review. We will be including a few labs on some of the topics listed.
- Lightspeed Web Filter 102: This session is for customers who are looking for more in-depth information on the Lightspeed product. We will be covering assignments, advanced rule sets, authentication, user agent, overrides, web zones, bandwidth management, and the access page. We will be including a few labs on some of the topics listed above.
